The first law of motion states:

An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Are you in motion, going through the motions or have you allowed yourself to coast to a stand still wondering why you’ve stalled?

When is the hardest to stop a football¬†fullback? ¬†Jumping off the line? Or, after he’s picked up steam and charging¬†down the field?

A fullback in motion doesn’t just stay in motion he busts through defenders breaking tackles, earning every yard, every 1st down and ever touch down. It is much easier to stop a fullback¬†off the line. But once he gets rolling it often takes multiple hits and multiple guys to bring him down.

With this in mind when is the best time for you to drive new sales and business opportunities? When you are winning Рwhen you are closing!

If are having a¬†great month closing don’t take the afternoon off. Press the gas. Ride¬†and even build on¬†the momentum you’ve built.

Like a fullback whose momentum gains an extra yard a little extra push will propel¬†you to your next goal. Don’t let up. As you drive the pace you will discover that momentum will bust open doors that otherwise would slowly open up to you. Momentum builds on itself. ¬†Momentum build confidence and confidence breeds success.

Have a great week!

Great insight from Robert Herjavec. Check out his latest article on LinkedIn Pivoting or Quitting? No Matter What You Call It, You’re Changing Directions
